The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has released their 5th Assessment and discussed the influence of humans on the observed warming climate and physical mechanisms behind it. I'd reccommend looking over the Summary for Policymakers which is essentially a document that is more general, straight-forward and easier to understand than the full assessment. Of particular interest to those who may be curious is Figure SPM.5 on page 31 (and below) that highlights the radiative forcing by emissions and other drivers and the level of confidence associated with that particular mechanism whether it be anthropogenic or not. The error bars alone show that there is much research to be done in a lot of interesting areas of atmospheric science!

Cloud feedbacks, aerosols, CO2 cycles, ect... Its certainly a mess of a problem to solve. Got to love nonlinearity!
Anyways, I started reading it last night. I'm going to try to finish the summary by this weekend. We'll see if I even touch the 2000 page report lol....
